It's Funny Because It's True...
It's possible that I've been giving the impression that infertility (IF) is all doom and gloom, tears and rages, and hysterical sobbing on floors. While it is difficult, a lot of us Infertiles have gotten pretty good at finding the humour in our situations as well. It's a dark humour, much like laughing at funerals, but I think it's an important survival tool. I know a number of women who would definitely see the funny in the following cartoon from the good folks at Married to the Sea Enjoy!:

Humour is humour, dark or otherwise. As Wittgenstein once said "humour is not a mood but a way of looking at the world," and if it helps you cope and get through the day, week, month, cycle, annoying weekend of Andrea, then laugh on, my friend.
PS. I love you and I hope you laugh so hard at my funeral you have trouble breathing. I mean that in a much less creepy, evil way than it sounds.
Oh, AC - I love you too and am already making notes for the eulogy I'll give at your funeral. If I'm still around that is. And by 'around', I mean not in Australia. HAHAHA!
